SKATE LIFE in GERMANY

www.Santoloco.com
As much as numbers and analytics are important. The collection reflects back on the owner/buyer, and it’s nice to see some humor when you walk into a shop.
Right next door to Santoloco was another skateshop called 874 (www.EightSevenFour.com)
I got a chance to speak to one of the top managers at 874 and he gave me some inside information to help me on my journey of collecting information to bring back to my Team.
I tend to mark my territory before I enter a premicis
The first thing find as I step into the 874 Shop, a quick display of The Hundreds. I can travel all around the world
and get homesick, but as soon I step into a shop and see a local brand that I am familiar with I automatically get comfort back.
It’s kind of the same feeling as flying to Spain to shop but ending up at H&M. It’s the comfort I am after when I miss Sweet Los Angeles.
The store front Display of 874 Shop. As you can see they are having a 60% Sale off of everything. The reason for that is because there has been construction going on infront of these 2 shops for almost a year and they have another 2 years to go until the structure they are building is complete. This is great buisness for Santaloco Shop but unforunently not to good for 874. From my understanding they might open another location somplace close, somtime soon.
Look whos sticker I found at one of the shops.. JUICE MAGAZINE!!!! ( Incase you didint catch a previous blog, Marillest did a Skateboard Art show in Venice, CA back in November of 2010.
