Skate Park in Uppsala, Sweden


There is this spot in Upp­sala called “Bajs bro” TRANSLATION “Sewage under the bridge.”  Right next to it is a skate park (the biggest one in Uppsala).


This week I met these kids at the Upp­sala skatepark.. They Skate mainly in Upp­sala and they got their own click!!

They also make their own videos and I had the plea­sure of meet­ing them.

Arpa: So, how is skate life in Sweden….in Upp­sala to be specific?

Skater: It sucks, no one skates and the city dosnt pay too much atten­tion to skat­ing as a sport

Arpa: You should see the skateparks in Los Ange­les, they are insane com­pared to this park, you guys would love it

Skater: Yes! we’ve seen it on TV, they are going to build a new one in town, so we are really excited to advance our skills in skat­ing with newer equipment”

Skater: Hey do you have a fish eye lens for your camera?

Arpa:No, not with me  on this trip, have you heard of “The Hundreds”?

Skater: Yes!! We didin’t know about them 2 years ago and this year out of now where they blew up, I see many kids wear­ing the “Bomb”

Arpa: What about Fan­tasy Fac­tory? do you guys watch the show?

Skater: No… Don’t like it.. But Big in the show is the best, We watch the show for him!!
